‘Flying In Nuanced Colours’
Uncommon

AS PART OF THE LONDON DESIGN FESTIVAL 2024.

I am beyond excited to share a significant milestone in my artistic journey with you! This September, as part of the London Design Festival 2024, my work, Flying in Nuanced Colours, will be unveiled at Uncommon Holborn.

This large-scale, immersive installation is a celebration of creativity, freedom, and the beauty in the everyday. It has been an incredible journey to bring this vision to life, and I’m thrilled to debut it in the heart of London—a city rich with history, innovation, and artistic expression.

About the Installation

Flying in Nuanced Colours combines vibrant hues with intricate folds to create a series of paper sculptures that will transform the space at Uncommon Holborn. I’ve chosen two of the world’s favorite colours, Hot Pink and Chartreuse, the latest additions to GF Smith’s Colorplan collection, to infuse the installation with energy and life.

Thank You

This project wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible support of a few key collaborators. A huge thank you to art curator Zoe Allen from Artistic Statements, who took a bet on me from the very beginning and helped guide this vision every step of the way. I am also deeply grateful to Uncommon for providing a space that allowed my creativity to flourish, and to my long-time collaborator GF Smith, whose exquisite paper colors continue to elevate my work.

Join Us for two Workshops for the London Design Festival 2024

The installation will be open to the public starting September 14th at Uncommon Holborn. As part of the London Design Festival program, we will also be hosting a series of events, including two exclusive workshops where you can get hands-on experience with the techniques used in Flying in Nuanced Colours. Spaces are limited, so be sure to book your spot—See the Workshops.

“At its core, the installation is a celebration of freedom to create and express. My choice of vibrant

colours is a bold declaration of intent to infuse colour and joy into the everyday.”
