Art Installation: "Barrier I"
Exhibited at the 2018 Ball of the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts

Barrier I is an installation inspired by the breathtaking beauty of coral reefs. Merging two folding techniques—tessellation, a geometric method, and curved folds that impart a sense of roundness and organic sculptural elegance—the piece creates a rich, sinuous landscape.

This intricate work invites viewers to explore a play of light and shadow, where the folds and textures intermingle to evoke the delicate yet resilient nature of coral. A tribute to the complexity and wonder of our oceans, Barrier I was proudly showcased at one of Montreal’s most prestigious cultural events.
